A Few More Pretty Paris Pics
“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.”
– Gustave Flaubert
Salut!
Well, I made it back home safe and sound to Sidney…and to a very happy Sadie 🙂
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to have visited Paris and to have had such a perfect apartment to stay in and write in.
As promised, here are some more gorgeous photos from our last few days in Paris, as well as several neat quotes:
“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”
– Henry Miller
“Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”
– Miriam Beard
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
– Mark Twain
“Traveling is food for the soul.”
– Anon
“I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.”
– Douglas Adams
