Well, well, well…

The hobbit hole in my garden

“It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.”

– Aristotle

Wouldn’t you like to climb inside that hobbit hole right about now?

Well…what a pickle of a situation COVID19 is 🙁

I hope you & your loved ones are healthy & hunkered down in your own cozy little hobbit hole to ride this out.

I am extremely thankful to be home in Canada and thought I’d share a few photos from my daily rounds these days…to help bring some cheer during such uncertain and turbulent times.

  1. Hi Maryanne. So good to see you last week. This COVID 19 has sure changed the mindset and ways of doing business these past few weeks. We are doing ok and holding up and hanging in. We have a good neighborhood that checks in with each other. Something good usually comes out of situations like this. Ours is the neighborhood is getting back to checking on each other and doing for each other again. Stay well and thanks for the awesome pics. Wonderful to see flowers and beach: we are still under a blanket of snow. Cheers. Rosemary

  2. How lovely! And did you know that ELeanor Roosevelt was the person I aspired to be like growing up?

  3. Hi Maryanne!

Love reading your thoughts and pics. I am working from home and going for a couple of walks a day on my own by the ocean.

    Keep up the interesting posts!

    Nikki

  4. Glad you are sending smiles across the miles. Thanks.

  6. Hi Nikki! Wonderful to hear from you! Glad you are doing okay…and yes, you have a gorgeous spot to walk by the ocean where you are. I remember that lovely summer swim we had at your local beach years ago…then basking on the beach in the sunshine afterwards 🙂

Take care and I look forward to hiking again with you!

  7. Hi Rosemary! It was so good to see you and your husband at Jan’s memorial get-together a few weeks ago. My, how the world has changed since then. I hope your leg is continuing to heal…that was quite the walking cast you were hauling around! So glad to hear your neighbours are checking in on each other. You are right…there is always some good to be found in difficult situations.

    Take care,
    MA
