Thankful for Beautiful Bali

Here come some Bali pics!
Hallo! I think what I love the most about Bali is the warmth & friendliness of the people. They love to smile and say hello!
I also love how the women put out pretty little flower offerings every single morning – on their sidewalk, at the temple in their home and the community temple – as a thank you to their Gods, ancestors and mother nature.
The Balinese take their gratitude practice very seriously. They live it.
Interestingly, about two months ago I changed up my own gratitude practice a bit. No matter where I am in the world now, when I climb into bed at night, I take a moment and say, out loud, five to ten things I am grateful for that day.
Sometimes it’s the same stuff: my health, my life, my home, my family & friends, that I get to do work I love, that I get to travel…but there are always new things, too, unique to that particular day. And it always surprises me how MUCH I have to be grateful for…once I shift my focus away from the one or two things that didn’t go so great that day. For what we focus on expands 🙂
How about you?
Do you have a daily gratitude practice? Share on XHere is the first batch of Bali photos – taken in Jimbaran:

Take care & I shall post more Bali photos soon. And just a heads-up that there will be a SNAKE story in the next blog!
