‘Tis the season for love. Just kidding…EVERY season is a season for love 🙂

Although February is the month known for romantic love, I reckon it’s a good time to celebrate ALL sorts of love!

I’ve been a single gal for many years now and I decided a long time ago that I was going to ENJOY Valentine’s Day, damnit…with or without a special someone to share it with!

Growing up, my mom (also single for many years) always made Valentine’s Day special for me. I remember fondly making those cute little cut-out paper Valentine’s cards to give to other kids at school (and hoping to God I would get a few back in return!). And she’d help me make little heart-shaped lace decorations out of those old fashioned paper doilies (who uses THOSE anymore?!). And, of course, there would always be chocolate!

And there always still is 🙂

In honour of Valentine’s Day this year, I whipped up a new quote card set and called it, “Let Your Love Shine.” I LOVE it!! And I think others will, too. There are 30 quote cards in the set and come packaged in a pretty little gauze bag with matching tag.

Since some of the world seems to be going in the opposite direction these days, I think it’s more important than ever that we remember what we are here to do: love & support each other.

It’s not rocket science…but it sure can be challenging to do sometimes 🙂
