Oregon Coast Writing Road Trip

Me, too! There’s nothing like a road trip to get my mind spinning in wonderful new directions.

There’s something about the open road, the right tunes, yummy snacks, and beautiful scenery that ignites my imagination and gets the creative sparks flying…even faster than they do on a regular day, which is already pretty darn sparky 🙂

At the end of September, I went on a road trip to the stunningly beautiful Oregon Coast – one of my fav places on the planet.

On the way down (and on the way back), I stayed at the Olympic Club Hotel (one of the many funky McMenamins properties) in Centralia, Washington. Sadie (my retriever) and I stayed there on our 3-month road trip back in 2018.

In Florence, Oregon, I stayed at my fav VRBO, “Cozy Cottage.” It is SO cute! Sadie and I also stayed there a couple of times in 2018. So many great memories!

The project I was working on during this Oregon trip is a new screenplay entitled, “Something Happened in the Hemingway Bar,” which is based on something that really did happen when my friend, Heather, and I were in the Hemingway Bar in Paris in May. Stay tuned 🙂
