Update on Saviour Play – January 2015
January 5th, 2015
The Saviour play, written by Maryanne Pope, will not be produced by the John Petropoulos Memorial Fund (JPMF) in Calgary and Edmonton in the fall of 2015.
Instead, Maryanne’s company, Pink Gazelle Productions Inc, is aiming to stage 3 special fundraising performances of Saviour (in Calgary only) in September 2015 – in memory of the 15th anniversary of the passing of her husband, Cst John Petropoulos of the Calgary Police Service.
Saviour is based on the factual events surrounding John’s on-duty death. Here is the link for further details on the play.
The 3 Calgary performances of Saviour in September 2015 will still be in support of the JPMF – just not a JPMF-initiated production.
